Aryi was born as a normal human in a modern world, where his mother died during childbirth, and his father took his own life a few years later.
After some time in an orphanage, he was adopted by a family that, after he reached the age of 14, used him to protect their own son, Yakaze,
from bullying by forcing Aryi to make a fool of himself at school. On his 15th birthday, after enduring extreme bullying at school once again,
he decided to end it all with the one gun he had adored and built over the years of his suffering, polishing it over the years of his suffering.
But things did not go as planned, and as he lay there dying, a spirit offered him the opportunity to bring it all to an end and vanquish those he so hated,
for the cheap price of his eternal peace. Out of rage and despair, he accepted the deal and became a Yokai,
which manifested in him as seven foxtails on his back and a pair of fox ears on his head. Once the deed was done,
he consumed their souls and collapsed on the ground, the world around him slowly fading to black.
When he woke up, he found himself on a ship without any indication of where he was. And this is where this adventure begins...
